Our Purpose

At Remnant of Israel our main purpose is based on the fact that God’s Word commands us to bring His good news to the Jewish people first. Romans 1:16 says, “I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes; first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.” Romans 10:1 states: “Our hearts desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved.”

Our ministry is also to acknowledge the fact that “at the present time there is a remnant (of Jewish people today) chosen by grace.” (Romans 11:5). We provide teaching and supportive fellowship to Jewish believers in Wichita and surrounding Kansas communities. We also welcome Gentile believers who are interested in learning more about their Messiah and the Biblical roots of their faith.

Remnant of Israel worships on the Sabbath prescribed by God in Genesis 2:3. Our focus is around the Biblical Feasts of the Lord found in Leviticus 23 and their prophetic significance, always pointing toward our Messiah. Each year we celebrate the Passover, the Spring and Fall Feasts of the Lord, Chanukah, and Purim.

Our worship service combines traditional Jewish Blessings, Messianic Worship and Praise, Davidic Dance, & sound teaching. Above all, we emphasize in our congregational experience a living, vibrant and personal relationship with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, through the Messiah Yeshua.

We offer:
Friday Shabbat Services
Saturday  Shacharit Service & Torah Study
Havdallah & Hebrew Classes
Davidic Dance & Tambourine Classes
Bible Studies & Prayer Groups
Men’s & Women’s Studies

We are in agreement with the STATEMENT OF FAITH of the CTOMC (the Coalition of Torah Observant Messianic Congregations).
